VII Study Spanish REITs 2022 Available.
These are the most important conclusions drawn from this study analyzing what happened during 2022 in the activity of SOCIMIs:
- Foreign investment accounted for 91.6% of the value of the real estate assets of SOCIMIs incorporated in 2022.
- Build-to-rent remains the main focus of investor interest in 2022.
- In 2022, 10 SOCIMIs were incorporated to trade, with assets valued at €1.523 billion:
- BME GROWTH: 5 SOCIMIs, assets worth €630 million
- EURONEXT ACCESS: 5 SOCIMIs, assets worth €893 million
- ARMANEXT continues to promote legislative changes to allow SOCIMIs in Spain to invest in agricultural assets, in line with leading European countries.
